There is some fantastic news that we want to share with you. We are officially launching our open source initiative, which aims to give back to the community. Developers will be able to draw from their unique sources of inspiration to help drive the Propy experience, creating a positive social impact.

You might recall that during the 2017 token sale, Propy allocated 15% of its tokens to its open source initiative. The initiative’s goal is to drive open source development of new projects that will benefit Propy and the blockchain ecosystem.

There are a variety of opportunities for technological development on Propy’s platform. Currently, Propy is interested in developing a blockchain explorer and a deed mining protocol.

Do You Want to Help Society Through Technology?

You might already know that property titles are often disorganized and poorly handled. This logistical issue opens up opportunities for the data in the titles to get lost or manipulated. Propy has been trying to solve this issue since 2017 with a deed mining protocol. Currently, there is a need for developers who are interested in Propy’s open source initiative to join the team.
